The beginning of my new building
« on: October 04, 2008 - 01:57:58 AM »
I have mentioned it a few times in the past, so I figured I would show you that the floor of my new building is complete.  It is 25' X 20' which should be large enough to store my truck, lawn equipment, and other junk so I can have some more room in my garage to work on cars.

I hope to have the (metal) building installed within the next two weeks.

Nice Clinton :2thumbs:  Did you find a deal on the concrete?   It will never be big enough, mine isnt now  Hope to see more future updates

I feel that I got fair deal.  They did some grading of the land, gave me a 12" footer around the whole slab, laid two layers of wire, and polished it to a very smooth finish; all for just under $3,000.

Thanks everyone,
I figure it will fill-up at some point in the near future, but for now I just want some more room.  Also it will have an eight foot leg height, so I plan to make a small storage loft above the doors.  The builder said it should be installed around the 16th or 17th of this month.  It will have two garage doors and one walk through door.  I will get some more pics when it is finished.   :2thumbs:

I always forget that the red Georgia clay is not common in most states.  :icon16:  The only bad thing is that about half of my yard does not have any grass, so whenever I cut the lawn, I create a huge dust cloud that covers everything.

My building was finally started on Monday and finished on Tuesday.  It is bigger than I thought it would be, so I am very happy.  Here are a couple of pics.
