all you need to get in is a consistent 10:00-10:50 car, that's the class they pick 100% of the time . it shouldn't be called pinks all out. all out is run what you brung and hope its enough.
That's the general perception, but they've picked from 9.50 cars up to 12.00 cars (I think - maybe high 11's?). I think there are a lot of ten second cars that show up at those events anyway, so it's natural there would be a lot of close times centered around 10.50. Because of that perception, you've heard Rich and the guys complain about the faster cars pedalling instead of really going all-out just to try to get into the show. Frankly, as a viewer, I don't care if it's always 10 and 11 second cars, since what makes it interesting to watch is how close it is at the finish line. Same thing that makes Pro Stock the best pro-class to watch from a competition standpoint.
