My new Challenger.
« on: October 06, 2008 - 03:31:31 PM »
A couple of guys here were kind enough to ask for pics of my 2009 Challenger. I've started the modification process.   :scared:  I'll show the before and after. In the after pics, the last one is of a polished insert for the hood scoops. I think it makes it look more real. As for the striping... I want to thank fellow member Brian(Autoguy), for the stripe kit. I also want to thank Tom(72Challorange), for letting me pick his brain about installing them. All In all, it wasn't too hard to do except for the area between the door and front fender. There is a piece of rubber weather-stripping that runs vertically there, that won't play nice when you want to tuck in the stripes.   :pullinghair:   :banghead: I'm sure I'll be adding more as the aftermarket stuff becomes available. Possibly a rear spoiler next.  :thinkerg:  In any event, I'm sure going to have fun with this thing.    :grinyes:

My midlife crisis continues...

It's just amazing how those stripes change the whole attitude of the car. I really like how the hood stripes blend around the hood emblem.  I would put a rear spoiler on. Looking very nice.   :2thumbs:

Mike ,
Congrats on your cool new ride.  :2thumbs:

Now you need a laptop and some software , then take it to the track and let see how fast that thing can go..

Now go out and use that Challenger for what its made for and burn some rubber...

Will be alot of fun.....
