Car Show Victories

This past weekend our new city held its first annual street fair and car show. I am proud to say that our 71 Cuda reeled in 2 trophies, one being Best Muscle Car, and the other Peer Choice You can find video of the whole thing on Youtube- Wildomar Car show, with part 5 being awards, the rest I haven't looked at.

Congrats on the award!! It's always a great feeling. I got my first and only 1st place trophy on a people's choice this past summer. Makes all that elbow grease & sweat a sweet reward!!

Congrats.    We went to a Car Show on Sat. The guy that was judging barely looked at the Mopars. They were giving the best GM, Ford, Street Rod, Mopar, etc. There was a beautiful 70 Charger 500 there. IMHO it should gotten best Mopar. So the guy that was judging annouced the winners. He gets to Mopar and says" Since there weren't any fine examples of a classic Mopar there , he was giving Best Mopar to a PT Cruiser Vert with flame decals "

Oh my goodness............. That is crazy how could he just stand up their and say something like that

That is exactlly why I refuse to go to all brand shows. I only go to all Mopar shows. A few years ago we wenr to Fergus Fall, Min to an all brand show. When it came time for the awards the car that won the Mopar calss was a 440 Six BBL Yellow Superbird. The club pres ,a Chevy lover,  that was putting on the show announces "that he couldn't understand how such an ugly car could win and worst of all it's Yellow". I would of thrown the award in the trash right in front of him but Darwin just took it and walked away. Since then I have never went to an all brand show.
