    Never thought I'd be happy paying 2 bucks a gallon.

    I love it to, never thought I would see the day that gas would be below $2.00 per gallon again.

    Enjoy it while it last, because it will go back up again soon

    Bite your tongue. gas prices have dropped for 42 straight days. the current price of oil is for December deliveries, so hopefully the price of gas will continue to drop through Christmas at least and maybe here in California we will see below $2/gallon prices.

    That's OK.  The low temperature here was 60 degrees F this morning.  I'll pay more for gas if I don't have to pay for home heating oil in the summer or air conditioning in the summer.  Even with natural gas prices being high, I have yet to pay more than $130/month for gas and electricity (except during the Enron thing a few years back.)  Usually it's less than $100.   :cooldancing:

    OK, I just checked the Chevron station next door - regular is down to $2.89.  So it's probably about $2.75 at the station where I usually fill up.

    Oh, and it's in the 80's outside.  :bigsmile:
