Topped off the propane tank last week. Now we have plenty to get through winter. After so many years of the routine, to think $300 bucks for just a hundred gallons of fuel.

update: it is now 3.09 a gallon here. It fell again today. It is not too hard to remember when 2.89 a gallon was too much. It needs to settle in somewhere around 2.50 a gallon so we can all afford gas and the oil patch does not dry up either.

Saw $3.29 in crook county, $3.07 (lowest, $3.12 most other places) in Lake County, ill annoy. Friend in chi-pit says he paid $3.49 yesterday at a Citgo; don't know if thats normal, high, or low in daleyville.

.................. $0.379.....to$0.399............I remember in 1970 and that was what I was shopping around for then. O how we wish for the good old days. Now we think $2.99 is good. If it came down to $1.49 and leveled out..........Then that would be a good day.

My wife just paid $2.52 this weekend. I wonder if lower gas prices are causing the Viper auction bids to increase slightly over the past week.
