I would of thought that with oil prices down . . . when I went down to the local store to pick up some oil for an oil change . . . that prices would have come down on a case of oil too??  Not so . . . $48.00 for Castrol 5W30.  :swear:

I was thinkin' 25 bucks would of been nice . . .  :walkaway:

Now that's getting pretty high for oil. I remember when $2.50 a quart for regular grade was "out of line".

What's the synthetics costing nowadays.  :dunno:

Still around $2.35 here. Hard to believe that some of you are seeing prices under $2.00 :scared: I never thought that we would ever see that again. How low will it go? :dunno:

Still sticking firm at 2.69 around here. We have had trouble for over 20 years with the local jobbers inflating our fuel prices over other areas. We have a big refinery only 35 miles away too  :pullinghair:

shoot, we shouldn't get too excited about low gas prices. I mean, it's awesome and I hope they stick around for a bit longer, but we all know that when they go back up, it's gonna be closer to $5 a gallon. these are just price shocks to get our minds at ease, and when they go back up to $4 a gallon, we're not gonna be whining too much because we've already seen these prices before.

Our new Pres has already promised to reinstate the offshore drilling ban, so it's just a matter of time.

Been my observation over the years that when a holiday comes, the gas prices climb, when election time comes, the gas prices drop. The election is over and turkey day is coming
