Gas prices falling

I would of thought that with oil prices down . . . when I went down to the local store to pick up some oil for an oil change . . . that prices would have come down on a case of oil too??  Not so . . . $48.00 for Castrol 5W30. 

I was thinkin' 25 bucks would of been nice . . . 

 Now that's getting pretty high for oil. I remember when $2.50 a quart for regular grade was "out of line".

 What's the synthetics costing nowadays.

Still around $2.35 here. Hard to believe that some of you are seeing prices under $2.00 I never thought that we would ever see that again. How low will it go?

Still sticking firm at 2.69 around here. We have had trouble for over 20 years with the local jobbers inflating our fuel prices over other areas. We have a big refinery only 35 miles away too

shoot, we shouldn't get too excited about low gas prices. I mean, it's awesome and I hope they stick around for a bit longer, but we all know that when they go back up, it's gonna be closer to $5 a gallon. these are just price shocks to get our minds at ease, and when they go back up to $4 a gallon, we're not gonna be whining too much because we've already seen these prices before.

Our new Pres has already promised to reinstate the offshore drilling ban, so it's just a matter of time.

Been my observation over the years that when a holiday comes, the gas prices climb, when election time comes, the gas prices drop. The election is over and turkey day is coming
