Can't believe it $2.25 for regular.  :jumping: Chevron was cheaper then Arco which I have never seen before. Diesel now around $2.69.

Crudes at $49.42 a barrel today. Unleaded futures are in the low $1. What an incredible change from two months ago. I have a bad feeling that something more then energy costs are going down though.  :eek7::dunno:

Moparal,
if you actually go into Chicago please note the prices there; I try to stay as far away from that place as possible, but they were always $0.15 - $0.25 more per gallon than where I'm at in the NW burbs due to the insane taxes.  When my friend was there the last couple of times I posted he once reported $0.30  and once $0.20 higher than what we saw here at the time.

The corner Mobil was at $2.07/gal for regular today, $2.27 for midgrade, $2.37 for premium.  I just found a receipt from my wife's car (which takes premium) where she paid $4.49/gallon at this same station on September 24th.

Dropped to $1.74 today in southern IL. and I hope it keeps going down. I only wish it was warmer so I could go burn up some of this cheaper gas in my Cuda and Challenger.

It's all in the plan. We were hurting fuel and economy wise, and the powers to be make it right. Guided by the supreme being.  :worshippy  :grinno:

Still slowly coming down here. 2.29 a gallon down from a previous low of 2.39. I wonder what all those people are thinking who bought the guaranteed 2.99 a gallon gas vehicles a few short months ago? It is weird how things can change so quickly.

I found $2.06 here in N.Cal. here yesterday. This is unheard of.
They put a surcharge on our fuel (.30 cents I believe) cost here to cover the costs to make it oxygenated fuel. CARB...Ca. Air Resource Board, EPA, Fed. clean air act. etc. We're under alot of pressure to keep air pollution low. Dirtiest air in the country. Some of that comes over from China; 25% of it.
