1970 Dodge Challenger project car for sale
« on: October 11, 2008 - 07:39:44 AM »
I need to sell this car, kids going to college, money has dried up to finance the rest of the work. The entire car has been taken down to the shell, and the next step was to have the body work completed. The car is sitting in storage at this time. I have many new parts for this car that I have collected over the years. Electrical Harness, Brake lines, all seats have been re-upholstered, new headlight bezels, exhaust tips, quarter panels, etc. Too many to list here! The motor has been rebuilt, painted and is sitting under my workbench wrapped up in shrinkwrap. Like I said, I dont want to sell this car, but dont have a choice. I want to sell it as a package, not willing to break it up. Not entirely sure what its worth. If your interested, and have any questions, let me know, and make an offer. Thanks

Im asking $8000 for the entire project car. The motor is worth that itself. I Live in Brick, New jersey. You can e-mail me directly @ johnike229@verizon.net, and Ill get a few pictures taken today so you can see a few of the parts I have for sale.

Isn't that a picture of the car for $8000 and in Brick, New Jersey?

And yes I would say you are fairly close on the price because there is a basket case for sale here in BC and they have people sniffing around for 6500CDN

Sounds like a pretty good deal to me. What kind of engine? Looks to be a pretty solid car. Good luck with the sale.

Yeah, I tried his e-mail and that was returned as well.  That is a car I wouldn't mind sinking the time and money into restoring or even make a T/A clone out of....Oh well...guess that just means that's not the car for me.  I'll keep searching...

Later,

Bri

Not much rust on it and looks like it is an FK5 car.
Also looks to have the burnt orange interior.
That would make an awesome car with that color combo.
