I wont ever waste my time on dryer sheets again.  The first year I put my Challenger away, I put them all over it.  I came back two weeks later and where I put one right behind the passenger seat, on the back floor, a mouse was making a nest.  There was a pile of junk right on top of the dryer sheet.  Moth balls ever since, no problems.  Sure it stinks for a couple weeks, but then its fine.  I'd rather smell mothballs than have mice.   :eek4:

Exactly. I would put some moth balls in there but when you are kicking back drinking beer, keep a good pump up pellet pistol in your lap, cheap target practice and if you like squirrel meat, there ya go!

Ok, I'll fess up.   :nono:  I do like animals, they are Gods' little creations, but when they start chewing up my stuff/destroy my garbage cans and scatter garbage all over the place, it's time to lock and load....

I tried everything that I could to "peacefully" rid the varmints.  I tried something that supposedly works(dog hair) but no good.  I don't mind squirrels, thy are cute and fuzzy, but one was camping out near the car, shredding my car cover and then chewed a 6 inch diameter hole in the side of the garbage can, scattering garbage every where which lures other animals to the yard and flies, I had to do something, especially since the kids were out in the yard with all the garbage here and there.

Once I eliminated the main perpatrator it seems as though all the squirrels know not to do that any more.  They communicated it to each other I think.  No more torn garbage bags, not even a scratch.

I know, cruel to the little fella....

Or else you can try this!!!!  Squirrel catapult!!!!  Give your problem to your neighbors!!!!  :roflsmiley:  :smilielol:

I think at this point I'll try the fabric softener sheets like Bounce. It smells better than moth-balls.  I'm just thankful nothing was chewed in the engine bay.

MIKE!!!!
What next!! :scared:That stinks!! I have had a terible problem with RATS in my garage due to the fact that I live on the water. It provide an enviroment they like. I am a hunter and have no problem shooting the varmits (squirrels). They are in fact furry and cute, but also are in the RODENT family!! I have a Gamo high power pellet rifle. Works wonders on the little varmits. But in all seriousness, back to my rat problem, they destroyed some very valuable antiques in my garage. I had no choice but to go to war on them. A GREAT product is Shake-Away critter repellent. It really does work. They make it for all kinds of critters. The web site is www.critter-repellent.com. I do actually believe some of the stuff is synthetic fox/bobcat urine. But being serious about the hobby and the horrendous damage varmits can case, check out the site for your own benefit. Hope you can get rid of the problem!! Hope the Zebra decorations are OK!!! :roflsmiley:

Before I bought my car from my Dad, my Moms barn cats were using it as a house. They were more like 'cuda cats instead of barn cats.
The thing reeked of cat urine forever and it didn't even have carpet. No mouse Damage after 14+ years of sitting in the field. Maybe you should get a "cuda cat".   ;)
