I just thought mine was missing so I made one by trimming down one from a hardtop.

I was going to ask... how did that work out??  :dunno:

It fit fine. I'm not sure what real good it does though. I only put it there because I thought it was suppose to be there. I like the idea of filling the area behind the springs with foam like someone mentioned earlier. I think that would do more to hold down the sound than the divider board.

In my opinion I think you would get better sound deadening from a divider between the boot and the trunk, that thin material that the boot is made out of wont stop much noise.

I don’t think the foam behind the seat isn’t a bad idea I just think there is a lot of noise coming from the trunk.

I think I may try the two of them next week.

Good point. Maybe the divider I put in mine is doing more good than I give it credit for. I haven't ever driven it without the divider so I really don't know what it would be like not to have it. I'll probably go with both foam and divider when I put my car back together this winter.

Why not modify a coupe divider panel and cover the seat side with dynamat as well as the wheel well liners? While you're at it may as well cover from the back seat to the firewall and behind the door panels.  :dunno:

Update- way back when I posted this I emailed Legendary on this issue. Because of all the panels listed ,nothing for converts.

So yesterday LIKE A MONTH LATER. I get a phone call from Scott Karge at Legendary. He tells me sure we have a divider for that, no problem. Then as I explain to him that the converts have a aluminum strip on the back of the seat that the boot attached too. And that you dont want to see the divider on the back of the seat when the top is down.... DOH! So he gives me the phone number to some guy in Calif. Telling me the he would know seeing he ONLY restores E-bods.   :faint:  I think we all know the answer without me calling this guy. But thought you all may find it kind of amusing if not a little wierd. BTW I also let Scott know that my boot has the Legendary lable on it, figured he should know how his product works hey??????  :eek7:

Interesting idea - the tonneau cover like my old MGB had.  I have two convert e-bodies, neither has a panel, just the well liners.  I rarely drive with the top up, so I'll hear noise anyway...
