Stock sway bar diameter
« on: October 13, 2008 - 04:32:14 PM »
I am trying to find out what the stock front sway bar diameter was on 1970 Challengers. PN 2835862 (not the T/A).

I suspect this was the same diameter all models (if fitted) and all years?

I have one source telling me 15/16ths and another saying 0.92 inch which would be a bit smaller than 15/16ths.

It has been many years since i last saw my stock front sway bar. :) Can anyone tell me what its diameter was?

This is for a friend who is restoring a 383 R/T and wants to fit the correct parts.

I've always heard 7/8, but mine is covered in thick POR-15 and I can't get an accurate measurement on it.
