if your looking at the lower side of the axle, on the lower pic you realy looking a a brake line tie down and the brake line should be lower and it just bends up around it .    keeps the lines from raiddling hope this helps

OK i need some uplifting words, I feel overwhelmed  :faint:. Fuel lines are pretty much done except for my electric holly fuel pump. Tomorrow I'm on to the windows in the doors and then the wiper arm mechanisms. What should i do with them they are rusted!! This is one hell of a project, I figure some of you have been exactly where i am tonight......overwhelmed at what I have taken on. Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn"t have just bought a challenger that was done. I thought at least this way i will know what I've got. anyway guys uplift me i need it!!!!!

kmyles, hang in there buddy  :2thumbs:  We have all been there at one time or another.  I felt overwhelmed many times on my project, but my advise is to just step away for a while and take a breath.  Sometimes coming back the next day or the next weekend really helps out.  Don't put undo pressure on yourself and take it one step at a time.  It's O.K. to go backwards sometimes too...that happens!  Remember the great folks at this site are here to help with ANY problem you may have.  I certainly couldn't have finished without help from CC.com   :worshippy

I agree with troutstreamnm....take a breath.  Look at all you have done, from where you started to now.  I remember sitting outside my garage at night throwing a few back with one of my buddies just bsing about how fun this thing was going to be when its done.

As for the rusted wiper arm mechanisms there are a few things you could do.  If it is surface rust just hit them with the DA and whatever you can't get with that do it by hand.  I have access to a small sandblaster (you could pick them up at Harbor Freight for nothing) and just sandblast them and the other smaller parts as you finish the build.  If you never sandblasted before, it is a messy job, but gets the job done well.

Thanks guys!! :2thumbs: I just finished for another day! And I don't feel so bad now, just got to stay on one thing and not get to envolved with the entire project. Just going to stick to one thing at a time...to overwhelming!! :pullinghair: I'll keep you all posted!!
