Looks great :jumping:
The color looks similar to my 340 duster I had years ago.  Was Super Yellow from the factory with black side stripes and the 340 logos on the rear quarters.   Maybe the way I drove it, but seemed like cops got up out of bed to chase that car down.  Boy did I get a lot of tickets.
Your making good progress, months ahead of where I'm at on my 74 chally driver.

A boss I had many years ago ran a national record-holder 67 Ford Fairlane with 427 4speed.  He said when he worked on the car he always quit each day before getting tired and not push himself trying to finish something that day.   He said that way he was working at his best, fresh and excited mind, and each detail was perfect.   He would say "D*mn I do good work"!!   When he took the car to the track, he didn't wrench on it trying to fix or adjust before the race like so many other racers.  He just relaxed and waited for his time on the track.  He said if the car wasn't ready then he wouldn't even bother going to the track.
Keep up the good job!!!
Phil

I had a friend that would take apart his cars, keep saying how GOOD they were going to be, was going to make custom dashes with guages and was going to be "so much better than yours". Then end up selling everything apart and never put them back together.  I saw him do this with a 70 440 Cuda and a 70 340 4sp Challenger. I swore that I wouldn't do that with my cars.

There was a time when I was building my race car around 89. If you ever get an Alston chassis, you get a box full of tubes. I was so overwhelmed that I though that I would never finish the complete frame. I told myself to do at least one bar every day.
That got it moving enough that I ended up winning the Trophy Class Champion at Gateway Racetrack in 91.

One thing that will help me finish my projects is to stay off of this computer and get back to work.....

Believe me I spend most of my waking minutes on my car!

Got the windows installed and now its back onto the hooking the fuel tank up to the fuel/vapor lines. :cooldancing:

Little by little I'll get it done!!!

Just remember how much work went into yours before you say ANYTHING negative about the cars that you see at car shows. You never know how much work went into it just to get it there, finished or not.

I agree 100%. I assure you I am not the one to have anything to say that is negative when it comes to these cars or any other that has been restored. :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

Well I'm sorry I haven't posted to this thread in a while but I've been bust to say the least. I know have the E-brake hooked up, marker lights installed, steering column rebuilt( Wish I had a three spoke wheel!!! ) , and the heaterbox restored. I should have my engine in a week or two. I do have the one question about my heater box. Does anyone know where the one line that I am pointing to hook? It's the one with the white Bubble(Check valve??) on the control side. :2thumbs:

I now have the dash in ( with almost all the wires hooked up), heaterbox installed and the steering column in.   :clapping: Can't even tell where I did the repairs to the heaterbox! :cooldancing: Now I'm on to running the rest of the wiring harnesses and finish the dash hook up. Does anyone have and pics of how the wiring harness hooks up the dash cluster? I converted my dash from a standard to a ralley. Oh and by the way NEVER buy a dash from Year One, they are a bi#@% to install and they leave a gap at each corner of the cluster.

thats looks really good! just one thing i would have done is to put the headlight switch in before installing the dash. it is a b**ch to get it in after install. i just fought with mine after getting a replacement from slotts. scratched the woodgrain pretty good on mine.
