Thanks! Stupid me ordered a ring and pinion kit without knowing what yoke I had  :banghead: Now my rebuild is off.
Saw a company selling 3rd members on ebay, a "power-loc" clutch type, all new parts. Would that be a good unit for street use?

Limited-slip differentials are always good for street performance, and are quiet and easy to live with. I prefer a locker, due to the increased torque capacity, and the greater durability over the limited-slip. Although I am personally fond of plate-type limited-slip, the Auburn cone-type is very reliable. Later designs like the Torson, and the geared designs now making their way into the aftermarket, are supposed to be tougher than the "traditional" LS diffs.
