A/C Pic request
« on: October 17, 2008 - 02:03:45 PM »
Could someone please post some detailed pics of the A/C system and Hoses (Preferably a '72)?  I am putting one together for a friend and I am not sure how everything goes.  I need to know where any clips go and what hose goes where.

Thanks!!!

Jeff

The A/C systems through the years are pretty close with the exception of some fittings that changed from male/female and the location that the location of the hookups for the condensor.

I cannot tell from the pics above, does the hose from the blower motor connect to one of the tubes on the heater box that extend through the firewall?

Thanks!

Yes, The blower motor mounts with it's hole towards the bottom. A hose goes from that hole to the fitting that sticks out of the firewall right below the motor.

Do the wires for the pressure switch on the dryer run dowm the fender and then over to the compressor or douwn the valve cover and jump over to the pressure switch?
