Front Sway Bar Bushing

Put my front sway bar on today and the new bushings seem to be a bit loose.
On past experince they all seemed to be very snug on the sway bar. But then they were also 30 years old.
Does it make a difference?

tight is right. I used Energy Suspension 5.5113G
