Ahh Finally getting my disability checks
« on: October 21, 2008 - 03:20:13 PM »
Been waiting a bunch of weeks, but Now I am not going to starve.  To bad it's only 700 a week, before all deductions, but it helps.  I don't feel as pressured now.

They still haven't determined what's wrong with me yet, but they should soon and then I can get back to work.  I'm wanted on a job in Virginia oct 25, not sure if I can make it tho.

Thanks guys for all the support you have been giving me.  And for the 5 or 6 guys who have been going out of their way for me on their own???  I know you said dont even worry, but I don't forget.  Blessings go both ways and in all directions.

Now I just have to overcome all this darn pain I am having. Things will be terriffic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great news Al!

I just cant believe you are still thinking about going back to the Hellish work you do, instead of starting a parts business like you mentioned.

But, hey, whatever works for you. God Bless.

Hi Alan,

So happy you can afford to live a little better with your disability payments finally coming through old mate.  It would be a big relief indeed knowing each week will be better as time goes by. :2thumbs:

Get well soon...............

Grats man.  Prayers go out to you.
My wife's permanent disability from SSA took about 2 years to make happen, and she was out of work raising kids when she became ill.  I'm assuming you have some type of disability insurance that is paying, wish I had similar for her.  Long road to travel to get SSA to pay...
Glad you having luck.

Hey Alan,
Glad to hear that you have some income coming in.  I hope the doctors can figure out a way to cure you soon.  Are you sure you want to go back to that job?

:bananasmi   Step one is passed making sure that food is paid for, now onto step two...  START ORGANISING THAT PERFORMACE PARTS BUSINESS   while the immediate bills are being taken care of.  What you have described will take some time to neutralise but will happen, so use that time for your future.      :2thumbs:

Al please don't rush into that job again. Do what the Doctors say is best for you. Your job is more worried about getting this work in Va done than your health. They will push untill you either say NO or go. DON'T let them push you into it till you have a handle on your health and know how to control the effects of the job.
