If it's the piece I am thinking of, I don't believe there is really any way that you can restore it, because of the type of material that it is.  I just shined mine up as best I could, and put it back on, with plans to buy a new set (top and bottom) next year.

There are people in the business, very expensive to repair aluminum with anodized finish
I have seen reproductions but cant find any today.

I'm playing with clear-coat over polished aluminum.

There is a guy in southern california that goes to Mopar's at the Strip who does great work on trim. His name is the King of Trim. You may try to contact him.

I did gorget to mention that I had looked into restoring mine, but the price definitely did not justify the need.  I just took a look for repro parts, also, and did not find them.  I wonder if they no longer make them?  That would be a bummer.  Last I looked it would have been about $350 for the top and bottom pieces.

That is the top part (which I do need and like the price), but what I need, and I believe WVUFELLA also needs, is the lower part that wraps around the opening in the front valance.
