Not really my cup of tea - too ricey for my taste. But still quite impressive.

It's one of the three Challengers that Mopar is going to have on display at SEMA this year.

Just out of curiousity, what makes it "ricey?"  I mean it has classic striping, advertisements/sponsorships (which was done back in the 50's) and big dished-out wheels needed merely to clear the massive brakes necessary to stop a very, very heavy car moving very, very fast...

When I think "rice" I think of road squeegees with horrid body kits loaded with non-functioning air scoops and vents and gutter-mesh grills and neon lights and paint-can exhaust pipes... This Chally doesn't even look to be lowered more than maybe an inch if even that.

I'm just curious.

Actually you are right. Then maybe "RACEY" is the more accurate term to describe what i meant, instead of "RICEY".  ;)

It's a great ride though - for a racecar. I'm just more into the clean and subtle look.

I hear ya - I wasn't going on the offensive.  The word Ricey just has that affect on me - ya know?  Like the dreaded 'R' word or something...  I'm not a fan of sponsorship decals all over the place, but money doesn't exactly grow on trees.
