Sorry about the language. I just feel like a geek when burnin the tires. It is better to practice hooking the car up and getting traction to me. It was fun tho in a sense. You can hear the carbs open up good in that last video. It doesnt bog when throttled. I can see my poor work on the headliner install. But this is just an everyday driver.
Wade actually drove the car normal, I'm always a little heavy on the throttle. He does very good except in gravel
Here's something kinda cool. When Wade gets inside with me and you see the rasin bran scoops over the hood, can you tell the center of the hood is from a 68 coronet? This hood had a tunnel ram and 2 carbs poking out through the middle. A piece was grafted back in useing a coronet. Same contour as a 70/74 cuda hood.
If someone has a 70 block, I would trade this 68 short block for it. My block has eagle rods, standard forged crank, KB 237's .010 in the hole. .030 bore. Nothing special except good valve reliefs to run some good profile cams. It's either sell this engine, build a 70 440 engine or replace it all with a hemi just for fun. But that would take time and money. It's a fun driver now
The rear tires look to big dont they? 275x60x15
