that is a bit sus about the orange cuda  winning,
it has won about three years or something like that, isnt it funny that
they are the president of one of the chrysler clubs that organise the show.
Danny car is a 383 car with the 440 six pac added , it is gorgeous, has been around for about ten years.
I think loco440 should have won but thats just me.
Mark did you get pics of the plum challenger with the shaker :burnout:
Great to see a couple of members there, can't wait til albury next year.

actually the plum challenger was a v code manual,
but the car was in need of a resto, a twenty footer but
looked good enought for a driver.
That black charger was a bit rough all the moulds on the car were damaged or scratched
there were dents in the boot lid and a few more dents around the car.
Guy looked upset and went home early.
Did you forget about the limelight barracuda.???? ???
Marks car is on a completely different level than that charger.
Marks car should be in your top 4 i think

The 4 best restored cars were, green 70 Challenger, Yellow 70 Challenger, Black 68 charger (that i wasnt there to see) and that plum crazy challenger i missed also as I came at 11:30.

So of your 4 top picks you only saw 2 of them ??? :clueless:  Oh, and my Barracuda's colour is actually correct Limelight as opposed to 'faded' - the Challenger is a little too green but hey, I was only trying for a factory correct resto - what was I thinking.  :smilielol:  The grey Valiant in these pics was also one of my favourites.

Some more pics.

The most expensive car on sale was the green 70 Charger, 130 000.  :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: The guy mentioned how its all original but he changed the shifter over, he has a 1969 rear end on it and the white vinyl top was not original as Ive seen it before with a different colour vinyl. The owners son claimed they imported this car 2 years ago yet ive seen it 4 years ago at castle towers car show. You should have seen his face when he was trying to sell it off to my friend (who he didnt know was my friend) as a complete original imported car nothing touched other than interior re-done, I walked up and said "Hey when did you 'add' the rear wing on it cause it was not there before?  :eek7:  <---- was his response  :smilielol:

G-Man, I think he was having a lend of you with a $130k price, we spoke to this guy on the way home from Albury and he said then that it was only recently imported and as landed so if you saw a Charger 4 years ago with a different roof and no wing then there is a fair chance it was a different car.

Hi Mark,

Another beautiful group of pictures buddy.  Please keep posting pictures if you still have some left to post.

Hey G-Man, you sure your Red Charger is at your place, or that ou even own it :22yikes: .  I seen your car here at the Gold Coast of Queensland last week at a buddy's place :clueless: and he said he has owned it for 8 years now and has never heard of you. :dunno:

See how easy it is to miss i dentify a car with one you think you know G-Man.  Just because one car looks the same as another, does not make it the same car :eek7: you should think hard and gather all the facts before you jump to conclussions, IMHO. :nono:
