    What is a slap stick shifter?

    I have on my challenger. It says slap stik on the shifter. Someone said you can use it like a manual, is it true?

    Basically you can put it down into 1st and then bump it through the gears.

    i have hit mine very hard through the gears and it never slipped.

    The Slap Stick is one of the best automatic shifter setups available from that era, and is even better than a lot of the aftermarket setups.

    Factory ratchet shifter , better than any aftermarket one I have used IMO

    Cool. Hey, what kind of file was that up there? I tried to open it but my computer can't. I just formatted my comp though so I haven't got all the programs downloaded yet.

    It is a video of my car going through the gears, it is hosted on Imageshack, not sure what you need for a program though.  Probably just windows viewer or flashplayer or something.
