First and likely the last run of the year!
« on: October 27, 2008 - 09:32:59 AM »
Well, I finally got to take my Cuda out for a drive.

This weekend was my nephews 16th birthday.

I live about two and half hours away, so I pulled out my cuda and went for a little drive.

Oh man what a blast. The car worked perfectly and made the 330 mile round trip with out a hitch. Boy does that small block like the fuel though!!!

I just recently put the car back on the road after 15 years, and did not tell anyone that I was comming in it. I droped in on my dad first and man was he surprised. Took him for a spin and he was just beaming the whole time (he did the paint and body back in 92). ;D

My brother and nephews got a kick out of it as well.

Man that drive made all the long nights worth it.   :burnout:

Hey thanks guys, yeah it was a blast to drive it again.  It was a little stessfull to, after all the car has not gone very far in the last 15 years.  I was confident that it would make it, but you never know.

The parts worked out for you?(brakes worked)I would have been smiling too if you pulled in my driveway with that Cuda.

Yeah those parts cleaned up well, and worked great...I love the manual brakes, it gives a whole new feel to the car.

To all you guys that are stil working away, keep at it...it is all worth it in the end! :burnout: :2thumbs:

Now to plan out all my little projects for the winter!
