Sam Posey - Driver of the #77 Challenger in 1970

We have a new page on the T/A site dedicated to Sam Posey. Most of the photos are vintage shots. One of the "body in white" race Challengers is shown, as well as a Challenger that was cannibalized for parts for the race car. The Challenger that Chrysler gave to Sam as a driver is also shown.

He's a hero, I have a bunch of black and white pictures of him and his car all over the garage.  Thanks for the extra pictures!

cool shots Barry........check out the black cowl and is that not a telescoping antennea too on the car thats being striped?.......if so looks like that answer what was the type of orig ant on a 70 Challenger? telescoping or one piece mast....

Barry on my web site I have an artical from a Oct.1970 Auto Driver mag. It has that same pic as you have on your site. If you want to use the artical go ahead and take it. I have the mag here if you need it in a larger scan.

Heres a ? for all of the Sam fans---What Mopar does Sams mom drive and own? And yes she still drove the car in her 80s. And yes I have seen it.I will give the answer later if no one knows?I did mention it a while back. :roflsmiley:

Heres a clue,its not a challenger :bigsmile:And it has a Hemi 4spd and yes she drove it(well known fact around here)Since his home is only ten minutes from me :stirpot:
