need help with forwarding package to poland ;)
« on: October 28, 2008 - 07:13:24 PM »
Hi guys, I decided to do some shopping at jegs/summit (dont know yet which one to choose) but both charge extremely UNREALISTIC (like $140-320!)  postage fees ;| unfortunately I can't buy the street aveneger carb on ebay as Holley ebay shop does not send overseas.

So I came to a conclussion that there is this mighty board and people who love e-bodys, especially these that need some parts and are far away...
Simply: I want to make an order (holley 80770 carb, fuel line, jets, spark wires), pay for it and have it send to a person in the States. I need somebody to help me - just receive the package, discard shop's receipt/invoice, label it as GIFT and forward it to Poland by USPS - of course I'll reimburse (in advance) the cost and add a couple of bucks for a beer ;)

For me it's a huge saving and simply it lets me complete my chally and maybe finally make her running as she should.

So if there's is anyone willing to help the only 1970 challenger in Poland please contact me...

Thanks in advance!

I could do it if you dont want to bother Al.  About how much are we talking shipping $$?  Just curious, you can PM me.  USPS, right?

As always Alan was the first to answer and kindly offer his help. As it is not a problem for him I gladly accepted his helping hand ;)
Bigblock and Lumpy - thanks for your offer, I'll keep it in mind.
The order is not huge: carb, air filter, jets, throttle bracket, some gaskets, 2 sealed bulbs, spark wires. I hope switching from eddy 1407 to the 770 street avenger and installing brand new wires+plugs will make my 383 running as it should.
Thanks for hep, bros!

Glad to help you again. I got your pm. Did you order out of Georgia? It would get here friday and I could ship it sat or monday for you.  You may need the jet kit to. The factory 78 jets may be a bit big for your combo

@Moparal,
Yes, I ordered a jets kit too. The only I did not order was a set of valve stem seals  >:(
They sent the order in 2 lots : first package goes from GA, second from OH. Both should be at your door on Friday/Monday.
Maybe you have a set of valve stem seals by hand that I could buy?

I got one big box today Willard. Didn't open it unless you want me to, but the packing list shows carb, jets, oilpan gaskets, rear seals, fire wires... How many items did you have sent, and what was coming from where?  Want me to open your box?

Scott, your inbox is full so I type here:

I got your email with tracking no. and I hope everything went smoothly. Will let you know when package arrives. I also sent you extra payemnt to cover rising shipping fees.
I think something went wrong with gmail accounts last week and emails vanished.
