Well first of all, why would I want to be a serpent
killer? I
like serpents (well, venomous snakes to be precise) so therefore don't want to
kill them. I tried to see if "Corvette" was named after a creature or object such as "Mustang," "Viper," "Ram," etc, but apparently Corvettes were some little military surface ship used in like, WWI or something like that. I figured "Ship Sinker" wouldn't ANY sense to ANY one...
I like ViperMan - for one thing, I've been calling myself "ViperMan" since High School. I even managed to get the email address "
ViperMan@psu.edu" while I attended PennState. It's long-dead, now. It never really caught on with friends, though when I started calling old friends last weekend and asking, "Do you remember the ONE thing I wanted back in college?" they all knew the answer - "Yeah - a Viper."
I wanted the name "ViperMan" for my Xbox Live Gamertag, but it was (of course) taken. I did some research and ended up with "Viperai Raddei" - it's a species of Rock Viper, native to Turkey, Iran and Iraq.
So see, I really AM the ViperMan.
