Is it a U code or V code....... not sure as it looks to be a V code six pack sitting in the engine bay. :2thumbs:
:clueless: I could be wrong. Thought he said U.  :2thumbs:

Dave, I swear I've seen his car at some cars shows around Charlotte.  Pretty neat.

He lives in near Ft. Mill so its very possible. He is the guy that built the 515 rwhp 340 Chally I told you about. :2thumbs:

I love it !! It's even better that he still drives it instead of letting it sit while waiting for its resto. Is it a 4 speed or auto car ?

This is my stepdads car, it is a true JS23U.  He traded an old dirt bike for the six pak set up about 15 or 20 years ago.  He claims over 1 mill on the odo and i wouldnt be suprised, we used to take this car to mich. regularly for family road trips.  I drove it in high school and the storys go on and on.  The car is a 440/727 w/some rallye options.  He has wanted to restore the car for a long time but hes in no hurry.  As soon as he does people will just call it it another VP clone but in its current condition you can see that it has been this combo long before the cloning craze started.  As far as its condition, it needs full QP's, tail panel, lower patch panels in the front.  Everything else is repairable but its a load of work so it keeps getting put off.  The ironic part of the story is he runs a machine shop and restors cars for a living... huh.  i guess hes alway working on other peoples crap.  That big dent in the front valance is from where i hit a dog with it about 12 years ago.  Sorry bout that.

That is so cool to hear about.  Glad to see one still alive and kicking for sure.  Brings back memories of my 440 6 pack Cuda.  Would be nice to have it back for sure.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

I sure know the feeling. When I wrenched for a living I didn't want to change my own oil. Who wants to spend their free time doing what they do all week long. This isn't true for everyone but it sure was for me. :)

It's very cool that he is driving it everyday.  Will he do the same after he restores her?
