    Anyone know how the Gold vinyl top looked like on 71 Challengers???
    Mine is Dark brown with some gold in it !!! :clueless:

    I have never seen a gold vinyl top.  Curious of the code also.

    My book shows that the v1y is the Gold or the tortoise grain.  Havn't ever seen either of those colors.  Anyone got any pics?

    That is awesome.  I have never seen that.  Is the color black or does it have some shading like the gator grain? 
      Is this a reproduction piece or is this an original piece.

    This is original vinyl and is a greeny grey color, no black.  Farmboy70 has access to some NOS material.

    The book shows that tortoise was available in 69 and 70 only.  Not sure about gator grain yet. 

      Anybody got pics of a gold vinyl top?

    In my Book it shows three diffrent Y:    Y  69   69  - Gold & Green Floral "Mod Top" Barracuda only
                                                         Y  69   71  - Gold
                                                         Y  69   70  - Tortoise Grain

    What is the paint code color on your car ? i may have something for referrence in a Barracuda with a Gold Vinyl roof and matching body color, if i knew your color :2thumbs:
