And covered for now until I get storage reserved this week:

And I promise this is my last separate thread about my recent purchase.  :)  But to be fair, the one thread was only supposed to be about plates, the other about dying interior, and the other was a joke someone else was playing on me.  :)

Hope y'all enjoy!

Well, with the high probability that we'll be moving West, I'll need something more reliable for a long highway drive, so probably the Viper.  The 'Cuda gets AWFUL highway gas mileage (short gears), the Viper averaged 20.23 mpg yesterday.  If for some reason we don't move, or are still within 4-5 hours (unlikely,) then we'll bring both.  Ash already volunteered to learn how to drive the 'Cuda - she honestly doesn't have the upper body strength to keep the Viper straight on uneven surfaces.  It's amazing how tired my arms are just from driving!!   :22yikes:

I already stated before that I like the interior but how are you looking at it now? Did the drive change anything or do you still plan on changing it? Good luck and I do agree with you 100% about making it what YOU want, no one else.

jeff leave the interior alone for awhile and see if it grows on you......have a poll on it for the heck of it ???  I never drove a viper so if you bring it to carlilse you should let me drive it....  :burnout:

It'll be garaged for the winter.

The interior isn't as bad as I thought it was.  I still want the wheel black and the gearshift knob (I need to change out the knob entirely - it's WAY too high.)  It'll stay brown until probably next year some time, at which I'll start really thinking about where I want to go with the car.  It'll go all black if I paint the car blue, it'll go blue if I keep the car black and add blue stripes.  But NOTHING will happen until I get comfortable with my new budget and get my last credit card and the 'Cuda paid off.  That'll be in April.

+1 for keeping the interior.  I love the black, seems like most of the Vipers I see are either red or blue.  I'm a stripe-delete man myself, but that's just me. :2cents:

The car looks great Jeff  I like the interior color as well. What did the other viper sites have to say about your new toy?

Actually, I didn't even tell them yet...  No one on those boards really seems to care that much.  *shrug*

Great car Jeff!! :2thumbs:
Are those tire marks on the pavement!! :burnout: I like the interior too!! But a black steering wheel would be OK too!! I did not realize the Viper did over 15-16 hwy mpg. I don't think my 4 x 4 Exploder with the 4 liter 6-banger gets that!! Have fun with it!! You'll be going to "Viper Anonymous" meetings before long!! :roflsmiley: :smilielol: :roflsmiley:

Congrats on getting it home, but honestly I don't think I would change the color of anything on it.
