...since you have a good sense of humor and don't care for the Cognac interior yourself, I'll tell ya a funny story
...I've been thru CAAP many many times and even the old Mack Ave Plant...got to spend lots of time with the workers on various occasions, and they jokingly called the Cognac interiors the "sh!t seated Vipers"...I never liked tan interiors on anything until a few years ago, I am changing my mind about them the last few years...I personally would NEVER change them, very unusual/rare

...had a Vette a few years ago w/tan interior, and my wife currently has a Caddy XLR the same color w/tan interior

Congrats on finally picking your Viper up, Jeff!!   That must be so much fun being behind the wheel of that awesome car!   I'm hoping I'll eventually own a Viper (most likely many years from now), so for now I'll enjoy my "mini Viper" and eventually throw some large turbos on it.

Problem is this isn't TAN - this is almost bronze.  If it were a lighter tan - like Khaki or Camel, it'd be nice.  But this color is too orange.

I'll tell ya what - now is the time to buy a car like this.  You just gotta find someone who really needs to sell one - the price will drop like a rock.

Congrats on the purchase.  They are awesome cars.

You haven't lived until you looped one at 75-80 mph and narrowly miss putting it into the drag strip retaining wall at half track. Even then I was still able to nail down a 110 mph time slip from half track. They truly will hand your arse if you aren't paying attention to them.
