The cannister should be on the passenger's side of the engine. I guess it was called a charcoal cannister. If you don't have one, you can cap off those vent tubes...unless you want this to be totally correct.

There's a seperating ??? canister ???  located just above the tank on the rear crossmember(front of tank) gonna see if I have any pics of it. four stubs for the tank hookup & another that goes to the vapor return line up front.

The canister should be on the passenger inner fender at the radiator support, about the size of a 1-lb coffee can, has 3-4 vacuum hoses... I'll suppose yours is gone. You can plug up the vent tubes but you will need to change to a vented gas cap, or drill a small hole in the one you have to prevent a vacuum lock. OK ot leave open to the air but you may smell fumes in a closed garage.

On a cuda/barracuda, the hole in the gas cap will leak since the fuel neck is behind the tag. You can get a different fuel sending unit and do a propper vent system

I ran the main vent line out to a point near the engine well. Put a one way check valve in the line there, allowing for the intake of air only, so that I still have the needed venting into the fuel system. No gas smell, and by leaving the line higher than the fuel tank, there shouldn't be any chance of a syphoning problem. I do not have the cannister ant this has worked for me without problems..... Only thing that has to be considered is which way the check valve is put in the line. Has to allow for air to be drawn in toward the gas tank, not the other way around. No hole in the gas fill cap needed. No smell of gas in the garage 'cuz it doesn't allow for air to escape from the tank into the engine bay.
