Welcome to the site, Sloop!  Congrats on your recent purchase!  Your plans for the car are great as you can't go wrong with a T/A clone. :grinno:  I'm essentially building my '73 to resemble a T/A, but won't go so far as to replace the grille, side markers, or taillights to '70-style.

you can see where fuel has spilled out and messed up the paint, the hood sags a little in the center. not sure how i am going to fix that

The carpet is in really ggod shape... i dont know why it looks brown in the pic above

That car looks very nice.  As for the fuel spill, I'd give it a thorough wash, the clay bar treatment, and follow that up with a couple good waxes.  That should get rid of the majority of the stain. :2thumbs:

That is a nice looking car!!
I second the clay bar treatment suggestion, it may work wonders.

Man, that car brings back memories.  My first Challenger was a 71 that was the same color combo with the same rims. I actually put a lift off fiberglass 6-pack hood on it.  Great score   :2thumbs:

Good to have another South Carolinean on board.  Spartanburg here.  Found my car not far from Rock Hill, in Cowpens.  Nice find.

Shes numbers matching... got under it with a camera the other day.  When im ready for more power i will be re-using the original 318/904.  Just cant seperate them after nearly 40 years,  it wouldnt seem right.
