Lucy, SRT/8 and The Batram
« on: November 03, 2008 - 06:57:10 PM »

Went to a NZ MoPar Forum gathering over the weekend (340kiwi came in Lucy) and we had a blast and got some cool shots out of it.
Aaron took the shots on the bridge, bloody guy has a great eye, not photo shopping either. Anyhow.......

Geez that truck is sick.  How do you have the headlights tinted?  I saw tinting sheets on Ebay, but precut for certain cars.  I was thinking of blacking out the lights on the Viper, but don't want it to be permanent.

Thanks Jeff, I love it, one of the best vehicles I've ever owned and a definite eye catcher. The headlight covers are from GTS (GT Styling) and are semi clip and semi grip tape). I keep them on most of the time but both can be removed and thrown in the truck within 30 seconds. I also tinted the front spot lights using 20% window film, tricky but worth it. Most of the driving I do with it is day/road trips so the dimmer lights are far outweighed by the mean look, especially as it's a 90% day time driven vehicle. I also upgraded all lights to 15% brighter bulbs to help compensate the tint mods. Search Lund, Autoventshade and GT Styling sites to see if they make them, you'd think they would. For the rear tail lights I used my trusty VHT Nite Shades spray, 12 coats of it lol.
