A million thanks to each and every one of you for all your opinions/info/help/guidance
Well, I took a little bit from all of you, and you definitely convinced me of sandblasting.......even though I had already spent many hours grinding down already
Stroker.........if you were able to do that to your with just those wire brush attachments, then yours was in MUCH better shape than mine..............believe me. Yours came out awesome though, and thanks for that link to yours too
I was inspired by you all to kind of build my own little enclosure, and I bought a great working hand held sand blaster off of my Snap on dealer that comes to the marina every week.
It still gets pretty messy, but it keeps a ton of the sand at bay.
Just got in a new rear polygraphite bushing kit/ new U-bolts too.
Also decided to go with and just got in from Eastwood some pre painting prep/ rust encapsulator/ and chasis satin black chip resistant paint. Never used any of it so hope it works good......that sh!t ain't cheap
REALLY appreciate all the help again everyone
P.S.
Don't laugh at my white trash rig.........I never claimed to be a carpenter
I'll let ya know how it comes out
