    Need Help. Where do these parts go?

    Pic one are plastic insulator shields for the doors  They go below the latch mechanism, under the interior door panels.

    Pic two looks like the stock ground strap that connects from the engine block to the firewall.

    Thank you for the help so far. I should be able figure out the shields.
    I had the ground wire bolted to the transmission housing while in storage so I figured it went there, but I do not know where it goes on the firewall. I have looked at multiple cars at the last Mopar show and none of them had the wire. Not sure why.

    i found one of those ground straps on an imperial it was connected to the passengerside motor mount and then grounded to the k frame,im pretty sure of that location as it was on an origonal car,that is my take on that :stirpot: :2thumbs:

     :canada:the ground strap look like a radio ground strap it look to clean to go under the hood .I seen some on radio before

    My 75 Cordoba had a ground strap like that but I have never seen an E-body with one   :dunno:

    I'm with farmtan.....i can't believe how many people don't re-install ground straps and then wonder why the electrical is messed or the lights flicker!

    Thank You asm74 and everyone else. The door shields are in.
    I found some other pictures showing the ground wires as well as the one posted here. Thanks farmertan for your Cuda pic.
    I think I may have mounted the ignition box into one of the holes that was for the ground wire. I remember only having to drill one hole and using an existing one in the firewall.
