It's about 6 inches too tall! Everytime you want to adjust the AC/heat you'll bang into it!

Yes the shifter is a POS if you ask me. IT really distracts from the car.
Here you can see how tall it really is and just doesn't fit well with the interior.
Something like this would be WAY better:
