Well, my '68 is off the streets for awhile. On the way home Friday a teenage boy in a Dodge pickup made a left turn right in front of me. Locked all four but even the big Michelins and Wilwood discs couldn't get me stopped in time. He had cut through a line of cars waiting at a red light in the left turn lane. He wasn't even looking my way. I haven't seen the car yet as I hit my head pretty good and the medics hauled me off on a back board. The police tell me it was his fault but that doesn't bring much comfort.

It looks like I will be in the market for all the sheetmetal forward of the windshield ... hood, grill, bumper, trim, etc. The paint is so new (about two months) that I shouldn't have a problem matching it.>:(

Thx, I have a nice goose-egg on my head, my right knee is tweaked pretty good (ankle to hip immobilizer adn crutches, and my left hand looks like a multicolor rubber glove that has been blown up like a balloon.

The worst part is that I will have to drive the family Honda minivan for awhile. I wear a ski mask when I drive the van but it gets pretty hot and sweaty after awhile.

A great looking '68,      I trust that you will mend quickly. I hope that the other guys insurance don't give you too much greef,   :banghead:  Stand your ground and make sure they put it back right, go to a shop that is on your side, that is won't let the insurance company scuttle your car.
  Almost forgot  WELCOME

Any updates on the Barracuda?  It certainly was a gorgeous car, and I hope it is again soon.
