Thanks.  The blue is a custom blend.  Basically, I found it at the paint store and added a little metallic to it.  It is close to B5 blue but not exactly.    Price is whatever someone is willing and able to pay for it.  I figure as it sits, around 3500.  After I put on the stripes and vinyl top, it'll go up a little more but not much.  After that, I plan on dropping the 318 back in it and getting it running.  Bascially, I am open to  offers.

I just picked up a 71 /6 Duster as  adriver and really need to sell this in order to fix that one up a little...

I never got one when I bought it because it was originally a parts car.  I have checked with the State of Texas and there are no problems with it.  They do not even have it in their database any more.  It was last registered in '86.  I will provide a Bill of Sale or you can go through Broadway Title to get one if you want.  IRCC - it costs $150 for Broadway's Title service.

People down here would offer $1200 for that car and say "It aint got the motor in it."
Unless, of course, they were selling and then it would be $12,000. Then let it rot in the back yard.

If the economy was good, I'd drive it up north and sell it as a Rust Free Classic Mopar!

I was very interested until I saw "no title". It's virtually impossible to get one in NC and Broadway and ITS will not issue one to anyone here.  :nono: I need a friend at the VA DMV!

Steve

P.S. I think it's a bargain at the price you're asking.

I hear ya about the title.  I may end up getting the title sometime in the near future just to make the sale a little easier.  As far as the engine goes, once I wet sand and buff it and finish the rest of the exterior, the 318 that came with it will be going back into it.

Pretty cool a 4sale in progress  :2thumbs:   Reasonable to.  If it was an ebody at 3500 it would be gone. Have you tried the for b bodies only sight yet?

Yeah, I know if it was an E-Body it'd be gone for sure.   If it does not sell soon, I may be forced to put my 70 Challenger R/T up for sale  :crying:   I have listed it on FBBO.com but the traffic there is not anywhere near this site's or FABO.com.  I listed it on Moparts before the bodywork was done and got no replies.  Maybe I'll hit there again, too.

I'd buy that car in a heart beat if I had money  lol.  I absolutely love a 72. I could have it registered and tagged in my name in less then 10 minutes just standing in line. Since I live in Alabama and it's a 72

Okay - time to get serious.  I hav efinished wet sanding it and will try and buff it out later today. The vinyl top material came in yesterday.  By the end of the week it will be buffed and shiny, have the top and stripes installed.

I really want  to sell it so, how about $3K with all of that done? I wil post new pics as soon as I get 'r done.   If I don't get any takers by the end of the week, I guess I will try eBay...

If someone buys the engine out of my car this week, I want it. But so far no takers.  I look at this car on your post about everyday.

Updated pics - I have installed the white canopy vinyl, put the hood to fender stripes on, and even upgraded the wheels & tires.  I still need to hit it with the buffer a little more which I will probably do this weekend.
