    Maybe Don doesn`t know but Cody does  :bigsmile:
     there is no pink stripe on the car , pink wasn`t available until Feb 70 this car was built at the end of Aug , the color combo is normal except for the stripe
     the car is purple with Black roof & black leather interior , tinted glass
     I think I will keep the stripe color under wraps for a bit , I am going to paint the car correctly & see if I can stand the look of it
     BTW According to Barry the stripe is painted on first & masked off  & then the purple is painted after , this is absolutly Not the case on my Chall , very definatly the purple is the base color & the Bee stripe is painted on Over the Purple , being Very early production possibly this changed later in the production run

     I don`t need much ... Fuel & brake lines lines , sheet metal , Bumper kit , tie rod ends , headliner material , rechrome the rear bumper , most of the parts I have already bought over the last 29 years to do this .I may build a Dana for it & I can`t decide werther to put the manifolds back on , I do have them or just do TTi headers  :dunno:
     I found a bumper on Ebay for 160 but by the time I get it here it will cost me $398 :pullinghair:
     If you want to come help I sure won`t turn it down , hopefully this will go fast & smooth, budget is the biggest concern .

    I resize all my pics in MS paint which is on all windows computer. I open the pic in it and hit crtl W and type 75 twice and it the right size.

    Gotta see some pics of this thing  :bigsmile:

    I wont pry, but I did see a car in a magazine that was Purple with a butterscotch bee stripe......

    Maybe Chrycos stripe is green so it looks like the Joker's car in Batman.....

    to my knowledge this car has only 4 options on it
    -R/T
    -SE
    -4 spd instead of the base 3 spd
    -Bee Stripe , not green or pink , I will have it painted correctly & take some pix of it   :puke:     but I will probably order  black or silver  stripe to put on top , I thought Chrysler warned against building stupid color combos , this car wasn`t even ordered , Chrysler built it this way  :banghead:
    With a Purple car , black roof , black interior & Tinted glass I could see #1 choice being a Black stripe , 2 Silver , 3 white , 4 Gunmetal, 5 Gold , it is none of these
     
    They almost could not have built it with less options
