I have said it before and I still believe it, I think that the gold stripe will make that car a real head turner. People would really freak when they know it was factory. Ultimately Neil will choose what he wants but I think its badass!

basically the body will be returned to as delivered stock , the #s engine is gone so it will not be stock no matter how it gets built now
 Tubbing & lowering it with Convos .....Sure  :2thumbs:                                             just not on this car

T6 is the correct color , I just found a bronze that is close , the flash reflects more light so it looks more gold /less bronze

Guys, ok let me start by saying that this is not my car.... but a car this rare should be at least painted the correct color.  The other stuff is bolt on, but repainting a car is a little more complicated.  I know Neil is not planning on selling this car, but you never know when someone will come along and just have to HAVE this car and make an offer Neil cant refuse.   :2cents:

Im 50/50. I didnt go back to green but now I kinda want to. I think its neat, but you could always change it one day.  :wave:

I grew up in that era. All purple cars were repainted another color because the paint didn't have any UV protection and would fall off of the cars.  The urethanes are some much better than the old enamels. It will look good in it's fresh original colors..
