well you have probably forgotten about this thread , I know I have
I went to the body shop as I am usless at doing bodywork myself & they have completed 6 weeks work in the last 8 months , the rear of the car is welded together with new trunk floor drops & lid , now they are doing the doors & fenders , the inner fenders around the hood hinges have been repaired now , the car barely looks different from the last pix I took at Christmas  :pullinghair:

I feel ya. Sure seemed like the bodywork wagon rolled real slow for me too. If my daughter keeps up with auto collision maybe she can teach me how to paint  :woo:
Here is hoping you get your car done soon   :2thumbs:

Well I called this morning & as I predicted they could not finish the work in the 2 weeks or so they had left , it was supposed to be finished on the 15th but ,as in tomorrow but it might be in primer , that is all so with them taking a month off it will now be sept at the earliestbefore the car will be in paint so I will not get to drive it this year at all
It will have it`s 40 birthday in the paint booth I guess , I am somewhat disappointed that it will not be done but at least it will be finished & done right fairly soon  :clapping:

Neil, i'm in an eerily similar situation. Today i'd like to suppose that i'll be driving a restored Challenger by (to?) next year's Carlisle Show. Like your's she'll be finished to my wishes, but wow all the hassles involved with doing a Mopar 'right'.

To see our two purple R/T SEs finally side by side someday...man, what a sight :smokin: :smokin: :picture:

In all seriousness you might be beter off this way bro.  At least you can take time to ensure all the details are there, you might have got in a hurry to get it on the road if the weather was still good you know?

I agree there is no real rush to get it finished other than where I will have to re-assemble it being a big problem
