Where do you get your pushrods from Neil? My one and only experience with Smith Bros. left me a believer.

I have been using Smith Bros for years , top quality product & service second to none , who else makes the pushrods & ships them out the same day if you call in the morning ??
I got the rockers on and spaced today & have the needed measurement so I will be on the phone in the AM , installed the intake as well

looking bro!!!  Did you try to double your valve cover gaskets to fit the rockers???  Just a thought if you were on the fence about the rockers you ended up with?

Thanks Hannah
i am mired here , I spent all of Dec waiting for new rockers & pushrods to show up , I ended up ordering a set of stainless PRW rockers , then I ordered the Pushrods from Smith Bros & got great service but I #@%$ up I guess , I measured the pushrods under only 1 rocker & when the pushrods arrived the pushrod fit where I had measured but is too long to fit anywhere else in the engine so I just wasted $200 & have to order another set & wait another week or so .
Uggg I hate winter , it has been an awesome year so far  :banghead:

Neil,
Are the ends pressed in? If you could get them out I can turn them down in my lathe if you want? Might save you some cash? I had to make pushrods for my Buick engine and that's what I did?
P.S what rockers did you take off? What did the PRW rocker set you back if you don't mind me asking? I'm going to need a set someday for the stage 6 heads?

The Pushrods are top quality & the ends are pressed in not sure if they could be pulled out without damage & the tubes shortened
the PRW rockers are approx $440 including shipping & tax .
I have a set of Isky Iron rockers but they will not fit under the valve covers

Neil, the push rods can be put it a lathe and cut the ends down .  At my partners shop in Baton Rouge, we have done this 4 or 5 times with smith's and I just did it to this 499 here in my shop.  It's a fairly easy job to do even cutting the bevel in the receiver end.

I have done this a lot , I have ordered probably 6-8 sets with no issue , I get the feeling the rockers are poorly made & the length is inconsistant as the one I measured fits properly but the other rockers the rods are too long
