That is a shelby replica of a gt40 or something. We talked about the car for 30 minutes. It was all hand built kit car. Took a year.

Also I took 136 pictures and got interior shots as well as other angles. It was a bunch of work to get these in right away

The molding on the blue cuda,  I was under the impression that the option was supposed to go all the way from the front to the back.  Is it, earlier years that go all the way or is it just a different option?

  Thanks for the pics Al.

I know 70's had the full length protector mouldings, not sure wich year was the change over though. :2thumbs:

That blue car said cuda on the side fender. Te tail panel said cuda as well. He had a 72 cuda license plate (aftermarket) on the front. It had BS on the vin tag on the dash pad. Had ugly white pin strips above those strips. Car was rusty. It showed signs of a repaint from way back when since the grill was painted blue to.   It is the second cuda car I have seen with a cuda emblem on the fender. I don't believe the fender emblem was factory but the first time I saw an emblem there, that said it was factory original.

I never really believed him and have my doubts on this car.  This car does have the 72 hubcaps. It was a 340 car, or so said the breather. I believe that the pin stripes and stuff were added on. Just didn't look right. It did have the cuda chrome on the door tops and around the rear quarters and trunk.

That side molding, I'm quite certain, is add on. painted pin stripes I'm not sure, my '73 Charger had tape for pin stripes.

The side moulding is original Barracuda moulding.   I will have to do a search and post pictures up.

Here is the first picture i found so far thanks to Barry.  Looks as though this is a 72 only option actually.

Picture shows it only has a partial bit of the protector mouldings left, the front fender trim piece.
