Detail looks incredible but the color, stripes and wheels look a little sahll we say "ethnic" to me.

Beautiful car.  Have to see the colors in person as the pics don't do it justice.  I'm not a brown fan, but leave it to Chip to pull it off!  The engine bay and wheel color has a satin sheen look to it which brings it all together.

-drip rail trim detail (look close)
-tail panel and valence treatments
-and the overall fit and finish is perfect.  1 of my 3 favorite cars at SEMA this year.

I really wish Chip Foose were my daddy...  I have so much incredible respect for that man - he's a legend of our time and not enough people know it yet.

I'm not crazy about the color, either, but it's a Foose.  "Foose" transcends color.

The bumpers just blow me away.  I wish I could get mine to fit like that.  I have to agree about the stripe treatment, a hockey strip or a simple bumblebee stripe on the rump would have been enough.  I think he could have done the hood a little different as well.  Cowl induction is way overplayed.

the bumpers do fit great    I really love the one piece grille    I wonder how he did that     it doesn`t look like he build a new one.  You never get bored watching a foose car

They spent a lot of time on my dad's bumpers at overhaulin. Look how the bolts and any other openings are also 'shaved'. Love the look

Folks, I saw this car at Chip's workshop on the Friday before SEMA and again at the SEMA show. I'm surprised by the negative comments about this car - I was really impressed with it.
The wheels were a surprise to me too, but I like them. The matt gold color on the wheels is stunning. Matt colors were the "in" thing at SEMA this year, both on wheels and body finishes.
The paint color looks quite different under natural light as opposed to fluro light. In the SEMA photos, the paint color looks darker and more 'nutmeg' in color than what it looked like in natural light. The color may not be to everyone's liking but it is what the customer wanted. The owner of the car wanted it painted in a color similar to the face of his watch

Now that I understand the color choice, I like it much better.  Thanks for 'splaining it to me and posting the link.  Chip Foose is the MAN in more ways than one.  I love the fact that he never fails to mention his Dad and how gracious he is about Boyd Coddington.
