What did you mean by these people are kinda redneck people but their hearts are in the right place?   I don't understand that phrase.

Lol - sorry, when I read that back, it definitely seems vague and insulting...

Let me put it this way.  The woman (I'm going to say she's still in her 20's... has TONS of piercings and tattoos, smokes like a chimney, curses like a sailor, uses a dialect that's a cross between Jeff Foxworthy and Snoop Dogg...) at one point, she turned to the 'Cuda and said...

...and I quote...

..."Naw man this is the car man - it gives me a chubby everytime I see it... ...and I don't even like, have anything that gets chubby ya know?!"

She used to live in our complex and I've had previous, equally awkward conversations with her - she's one of those people that has devoted all of her resources into being ANYTHING other than what she really is - a low-income, skinny, white girl.  :)

So normally I'd avoid her, but she was admiring my Mopars so I gotta give credit.  I think that's what I meant...  :)

That's a true part of the story, too - the guy said he saw the Viper in the front part of the lot (I later moved it next to the 'Cuda when the spot opened up) and figured it belonged to the Landlord.

What's that Al?  One Taco short of a combination platter?  One brick short of a front walk?  One beer short of a six-pack?  One stick short of a drum set?  One candle shy of a jacko'lantern?

ROFL....

Oh my God that's just disgusting.  Love the file-name, too..   :P

I wanna know how you SLEEP when you've got that much crap on your face.

SIDEBAR - Anyone remember Mitch Hedburg?  Fantastic Comic - deceased unfortunately - had a joke once about a "dude" he met with a lot of piercings.  He tells the guy, "Dude, you have a lot of... ...cranium accessories..."

Crowd laughs.  Mitch Pauses...

"Aw man - you guys are a smart crowd!  At my last show, I had to say, 'Dude, you've got a lot of crap on your face!'"

Hey - way to sling this topic off course.  :)  So yeah about my Viper...!

Eh but while we're at it, I figured I'd mention that her usual attire includes combat boots, jeans with her wallet on a chain, usually an ash-colored hooded sweatshirt or plain t-shirt, and I honestly can't picture her hair, but I know it's more of a boy-cut.

The first time I met her, she was visiting another tenant who has since moved out (cough evicted cough.)  I honestly could not tell if she was a man or a woman until about a 15 minutes into the conversation.

By the way, I can't WAIT to move out of this complex.  :)

By the way, Al, I'd like to mention that I fully support Jeff Foxworthy's definition of the term "redneck."

"A glorious absence of sophistication, which can be either part time or full time, and while only some of us are guilty of it, most of us know someone in our family who is."
