Good progress Sean, I'm on the verge of pulling the trigger on my Challenger project too. I was planning on a stroked smallblock too, until a 5.7 hemi fell in my lap. It might be tough to get the power you want with factory manifolds, they're quite a plug in the system. But a 408 is plenty of cubes, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I had ceramic coated TTIs in my convvertible and loved them, as easy as manifolds but much more power.

For stroker kits, look at Ohio Crankshaft for cheap kits, and Blueprint Engines for a complete stroker longblock, just be sure to put a better cam in it, the one they use is practically stock!

Hi All,
Now that it's warmed up a little and I have some time on my hands, I've been back to work on the car. Not much exciting, just scraped off the body sealer in the trunk area and started drilling out the spot welds holding the tail panel. No sexy pics, but wanted to post to let everyone know the project is still alive after a short dormant period.

I see you are in Troy. I am originally from Edwardsville. Are you originally from that area or just ended up there? I left a long time ago, but now I'm starting to think it is time to go home. Isn't as bad as I thought when I was 18.

BTW the Cuda looks like a good project.

Hi Kevin!
I'm in the Air Force, stationed at Scott AFB. We have been here just shy of a year. Moved here from CA, the winter has taken a little getting used to. I've lived in the mid-west before, so no surprises. I really like the area. Fairly quite and the big city is just down the road.

Unfortunately, those table legs are long gone. They were burned in a bon fire last year. It'd be great to have another e-Body owner in the area, to work on cars or just sit back and have a few cold ones!!!

Finally, the tail panel is out. With a little love from Mr. Sawz-All and Mr. Air Chisel, it's out! YEAH!

Going back to Saturday, picked up a fiberglass AAR hood from a fellow forum member! Major score for me!!! Also picked up two interior door panels (modified for aftermarket speakers, unfortunately) and two each of left and right rear passenger interior panels!!! All in great shape. Thanks Eric!

Great score! I love the AAR hood, it is probably my favorite 'Cuda fresh air hood. Glad to see you are getting after it. Keep up the good work and keep us posted too.
