Newbie..... just picked up a 73 cuda
« on: November 10, 2008 - 12:39:41 PM »
Hello i just joined the forums. I hope to find info about this 73 barracuda as far as wireing ect. I picked this up from a good friend that started to repaint it and lost interest. The car is very solid with very little rust and was family owned since new. The previous owner added a few mods to the engine. I have pulled some of the interior since these pictures and found a build sheet in the back seat. Can some on tell me if a build sheet helps out value?

The car is jamed in with paint and the strikers are still off the doors so thats why the doors are not lined up properly. The car has sat in this condition in a shop for the last 3 years.

Welcome to the site!  That looks like a pretty solid project car you have there.  You'll find lots of help here about wiring or anything else you want to know.  And, yes, a build sheet helps value.  How much is more about what's in the car than the actual buildsheet, but since it will verify options, it's always a nice item to have.  Most of us wish we had ours.  If you have yours, Barry (Alaskan T/A) would greatly appreciate a scan for his files.

 Welcome to the website!  Your '73 looks like an excellent project.  I see that someone has eliminated the side marker lights.  Your front bucket seats are in great shape!  Enjoy your stay.
