Hey Barry, I went junkyard diving today.  Found some tags.  Nothing real special about them.  71 Dart, 69 Coronet, 72 Belvedere, and '71 Charger.  Yeah, they sound like great cars, but you guys should have seen them.  This yard is the only yard I've found with old cars.  The Dart had fared the best out of all of them.  The poor Coronet had the back half of the trunk cut off (the front clip was solid cancer), the Belvedere was an old circle track car, the Charger was on barrels, (Not quite as catchy as the barrel cuda) and the Dart was just sinking.  All had pretty serious rot.  The bottom two are off of the Charger, but I dont see anything on the second tag.  I didnt look close enough at the Dart, but I'm sure someone could have saved that one if they really wanted to.  (FC7 car)  I should go back someday, its about 45 minutes away.  There was another 70-71 Dart, too, but I couldnt find it on the way back.  These cars have trees growing through them, they've probably been sitting there 30 years...   :sleeping:

And I know that  :useless:  but sure enough the batteries were dead when I got there.   :pullinghair: :hyper:  I do have closeups of each tag, too...

You havent moved have you?  I still have your address and I have 10 or 12 plates to go, too.   :wave:

Yep, same address;

Barry Washington
P. O. Box 9632
Ketchikan, AK. 99901

The second tag for the Charger should have an inspection stamp on it. Sometimes the paint filled them in & it makes it hard to see.

Thanks!

Barry
