CUDA TIME
« on: November 10, 2008 - 09:11:01 PM »
:woohoo:FINALY! THE DAY I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR, FOR YEARS HAS ARIVED. :woohoo:

Cuder (coo-ter. As in the mechanic on Duke of Hazzard) is back in the cave.

Taking him home was like heaven.
The clutch slips abit comin' off the line, there's loads of more power in 4th gear, and the exhaust is abit restricted. But the latter of the problems is easily fixable and is planned to be fixed. The QP's are rusted up abit and the interior needs some TLC But all is well. It's not a major overhaul. But will take some time with our schedules. The only way we can see fixing the Gearing and clutch is, well, replacing them. but i do have some pics that are right about...

Sweet looking A-body.
A Formula S car, 273cid with 235hp and a 4-speed?, should be real fun to drive. :2thumbs:
You couldn´t have made a better choice, but then I´m a little biased to 67-69 A-body Barracuda.
The vin should be placed at the drivers side A-pillar door post.

Ding Ding Ding We Have a Winner.
We do wish it was a 5 speed.
That could bring out so much more him.
I just spent the last hour cleaning him out.
LOADS of OLD reciepts and a first aid kit.
Even had a lucky 1967 quarter in the ash tray.
The back bumber is not on the car BTW. :D

If that 08 was mine.
This thread would be non-existant and that Corvette Picture would be too.(and the Garage :D)
We pulled the bumber out of the package tonight.
It had been rechromed 3 years ago.
Thankfully It's in GREAT shape now.
We also took our "Redneck Boroscope"(a video camera with a light atachment) and looked for rust spots in the wheel wells.
Not much there but we'll see.
